Background

I am a National Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. A Diplomate of Chinese Medicine and certified in Acupuncture Injection Therapy. Academically I have a Master's of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine as well as a Bachelor's in Health Sciences. I am also certified in the use of Low Level Laser Therapy.

Philosophy

What appeals most to me about practicing this medicine, is the focus on each patient's unique root cause of their health concern. Which allows for very individualized treatments catered to each patient's presentation. My treatment style focuses on building a patient-practitioner relationship based on education, empowerment and compassion. As well as utilizing a variety of modalities to achieve maximum results. This includes electro-stim/auricular acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, qi gong, injection therapy and custom herbal therapy. While I enjoy treating any health concern a patient may have, I am especially passionate about working with internal medicine, chronic pain, mental health and women's health/fertility. I work directly with the Veterans Administration, and  take pride in serving our military community. The goal of treatment is to provide a professional, empowering and comfortable healing experience.
